Slovak diamond group

The Slovak Diamond Group (SDG) is a group of young scientists focused on research and innovative applications of carbon nanomaterials. The beginnings of SDG are dated to the end of the 1990s, when doc. Štefan Bederka after returning from a research stay in Canada designed and constructed the first HF CVD diamond reactor in Slovakia, located at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

  • Carbon material deposition – boron doped diamond, intrisic diamond, DLC

  • Deposition Methods – Glow Fiber Activated Vapor Activated Chemical Deposition (HF CVD), Microwave Plasma Activated Chemical Vapor Deposition (MW CVD), Steaming, Sputtering, Electrochemical Deposition

  • Materials Analysis – Scanning Electron Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, Electrochemical Analytical Methods
